Happy V

In this country that we live in celebrates valentines day also, but how they 'do' is a little different. It's girls that give chocolates to boys, and it's funny boys act like they had no idea it was valentine's day, well, those boys in my class did anyways. I thought it was funny. AND
There will be a 'white day' on 3/14, which is a 'returning-cookie' day to the people that gave you chocolate on valentine's day.
Dyson and Kai and June got some valentines. (June is so lucky that she gets whatever boys get.) Grandma in America, grandma in Japan, Miwa that works for grandma in Japan, thank you so much:) it was so nice of you! We loved it so much. And my teacher at school always gives them something cute for every occasion, Halloween, Christmas, and now Valentine's day.

We feel so loved and blessed:)

Happy kids

This is what they do...

Without Dyson and me.

Snow fest. 2014

It's the time again! It has been more than a year since we came to Japan :) there are so many people in this city of sapporo right now, it's ridiculous. But honestly this famous snow festival is not that great, haha:):) I say it's kinda cool that they have been doing this for 60-some years; it might amaze people who are from no-snow places, and it's kinda cool looking when it's night time, but is it come-from-the-other-side-of-the-earth worth?  That's a good question;)

5-dollar foot long

Our 5-dollar foot long sushi that we had today 'setsubun' for a year of good luck.

We are supposed to face east-north-east direction this year while eating and you have to eat it like a burrito, meaning you are not supposed to cut them into pieces.
{June wanted to cut them anyway, so no luck for her:)}

They did good:)

He is so determined to finish.
Our little princess eating sushi like a princess eats sushi.
