Candy cane mouse

Thank you, Martha Stewart. My son Kai is very happy that he gets to give these cute mouse-ies to his classmates tomorrow!

Jello cookies

We made some holiday treat that I found on Pinterest.

JELLO COOKIE.

I used lime jello and fruit punch jello for Christmas colors.

It looked soooooo cute in the picture. It tasted not good at all.

But kids had fun making it so I guess it's all good.

Almost like a play-doh.

Yep I don't recommend this to anyone. Don't be fooled by the cute look.

Temple square

Finally, we made it!

We browsed around a bit, had hot chocolate, and stopped at Macy's to write a letter to Santa.

YW: lesson 42

It was 'Courage to TRY'.

We sometimes let our fears come in our way to try new/uplifting things.

Fear of failing, fear of being different, etc.

It is normal to be that way.

BUT

"There are two kinds of people; those who climb mountains and those who sit in the shadow of the mountains and critique the climbers."

We want to be a climber, not the critic.

Fear<->Courage

Courage gives us the strength to try.

When we overcome fears, we become stronger, more experienced, and better prepared for greater challenges.

Our primary colors are one two three, red, yellow, and blue.
Each has a message for you and me; each is a symbol true.

RED is for COURAGE to do what is right.

so I sugardoodled and found this idea to give a red nail polish for the handout. I want my YW to wear the red nails to remember to have courage to try something new/uplifting.

This fortune cookie thing, I saw how to make it and I had to make it. It's nothing to do with the lesson, but, again, I had to make it.

This one was made out of sprite bottles!

We found a pinkalicious one!

We did some craft.

Fun. Fun. Fun.

Rainbow tree

I saw this rainbow tree on Pinterest. I fell in love. I wanted to get a bigger tree, but There is no way that I can convince my husband. So I settled down with a little one.
