He likes eating lunch at school; it's so cool that he gets to choose and get what he wants, not his mom.
とうとうはじまりました。１年生。日本のように大事ではありませんけど。給食食べてきます。１日目はハンバーガー、２日目はパスタ。たのしいようです。

guess what?
Dyson lost his first tooth!
and this morning, he found $5 under his pillow. it had a glitter tooth mark on it. {thanks, Pinterest.}
I don't know if you can even see the tooth stamp, but Dyson was pretty excited!
だいくん、初めての歯が抜けました。こちらでは歯の妖精ってのがいて、抜けた歯を夜寝る時に枕の下にいれて寝ると次の朝には歯がなくなっていて、そのかわりにお金をおいていくっということなんですけど、あんまり意がわかりません。が、だいくんも枕の下にいれて寝て、今日の朝、５ドルみつけてました。みえるかわからないけど、きらきらの歯のスタンプが押してあります。
swimming, one last time.
We went to Kearns rec open plunge. Dyson is gonna start his first grade next week, so this was the last swimming. I always thought Kearns pool is kind of expensive and just because they have a cool kiddie pool, it would be so crowded. but it really was not too bad, cuz we can bring outside food in, that means you don't spend money to buy their fairly-over priced food, and you can bring your own floating device, that means my June and Kai feel comfortable in water, and the place is so huge; we had our comfortable space and lounge chairs.
The reason why we went to this pool.
It was fun.
だいくんの学校が始まる前に最後のプール、行ってきました。このプール、ほかのとこに比べてちょっと入場料が高め、とおもって敬遠してました、が、水をどっしゃりこぼす（？）大きなバケツ（上写真参考）に負けていってきたわけです。でも大人が５ドル５０セント。子供が４ドル７５セント。ま、ひとり５ドルとして、よく考えればぜんぜんわるくない。５００円。というかけっこう安い。なんでそんなに高い高いいってたかわからない。。。ま、たのしくすごしました。

yep, we went to UTAH's HOGLE ZOO with cousins! We missed you, cousins in Mississippi.
We watched their bird show, which was a.mazing. That was our first time. We were very impressed by their smart birds.
動物園にいきました。でも、ニホンザルがいないと動物園という感じがしないね。円山動物園の猿山、もう２０年以上もみてない。悲しい現実です。
